Brunch at Purple Onion - will be back

Oh boy, this one has got very mixed reviews. I've only tried The Purple Onion for brunch so that's all I can judge.

After my last review, I'm not in the mood for another long one.

I like the place: shady garden inside a very quiet lane

I like the food: simple dishes made with good quality ingredients

Try the Brunch Pizza. A combination of classic ingredients (goat cheese, bacon, cherry tomatoes, arugula, eggs) and new ingredients (avocado, onion jam) on a nice thin crust.

I don't like the service: understaffed, slow, sometimes bordering rude.

Brunch for 2: RMB280

Overall conclusion: will-be-back
