I know... boring... but if you are currently pregnant in Shanghai, you are probably sick of H&M and struggling to find anything else than those chinese apron-y dresses.
Let's be honest, shopping for maternity wear is something one wishes to stay away as long as possible (except for this: Hatch Collection, which costs an arm and a leg but can be delivered to Shanghai via Shopbop) and no one wants to spend a fortune on clothes that will only serve for a few months time.
So here's a list of affordable shops on Taobao:
A Korean shop (note: only one size)
International online retailers with Shanghai delivery:
Asos claims it can deliver worldwide for free. About that... I tried to order a bunch of clothes in mid November, scheduled to arrive early December but never did ("your order may have been lost during delivery"). I ended up cancelling the order and getting reimbursed.
Shopbop - never tried
[Taobao is a goldmine but it can be very time consuming so I'll try to share some links in my "Taobao Find" series. If you know any good shops, please do share! And for those who are not familiar with how to use Taobao, check this guide by Cityweekend.]
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I have also tried ASOS, before January I always got all my orders delivered within 2 weeks for free but after that, my orders never seem to reach my address anymore!
I have tried Shopbop after seeing it on your website, the delivery is handled by DHL which could be scary but actually it is very efficient, it takes about 5 days to get your order but beware of the duty tax in China!

Oh !! I had my baby 4 months ago but YES I was soooo tired of boring H&M maternity clothes !! I also had tried Asos but received everything correctly, however, I've never seen those pretty clothes on Tabobao... I wrote an article in French on blog about how it felt to me being pregnant in Shanghai http://themooncakes.canalblog.com/archives/2012/07/16/24717372.html... Hope you enjoy your pregnancy time !
